On June 7-9, Christian Music Review (CMR) will report live from the set of Courageous, the latest film from hit maker, Sherwood Pictures.  Fans are invited to tune in to real-time video feeds and interact with CMR founder, Jay Heilman via CMR’s Twitter and Facebook accounts as he interviews the cast and tours the set during the making of the movie.

Courageous follows the story of two law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell and Nathan Hayes, who willingly stand up to the worst the world can offer on the job, but at home face a challenge that neither of the men are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood.  While living up to the highest professional standards at work, they quickly discover that they are missing the mark at home. Online ministry announces its first quarter, 2009 calendar of events.

For 2009, the ministry of Christian Music Review (ChristianMusicReview.org) will continue its founding purpose, a focus on message first, because message matters.  On the heels of its 4th straight year of growth, the popular online Christian music review site plans to:

1.    Host new contests and promotions in a continued partnership with Christian artists, record labels and movie promoters.
2.    Release new updates to its website and ministry services.
3.    Continue offering readers a biblical perspective on the music and messages released by today’s top artists and producers.

Through these efforts, Christian Music Review (CMR) will continue to fulfill its commitment to its readers, follow its unique calling, and offer accountability for listeners by promoting creative works produced in accordance with Christian principles outlined in God’s Word.  By focusing on message first in 2009, CMR will continue challenging the status quo in an ever evolving Christian industry struggling to maintain the balance between spirituality and popular appeal.

In partnership with Sherwood Pictures, Provident Films and Carmen Entertainment, beginning on January 15th, fans of the blockbuster film, Fireproof, can enter to win one of 10 DVDs, including 5 copies of the book, “Love Dare” featured in the movie.  The Fireproof movie soundtrack includes popular artists such as Third Day, Leeland, Casting Crowns, Warren Barfield, John Waller and Grey Holiday.
